Responsibilities

As a Data Engineer at Columbus, you’ll be part of a cross-functional team delivering cutting-edge Data & AI solutions to clients across various industries. Your role will focus on building scalable and modern data platforms – enabling everything from advanced analytics and machine learning to real-time dashboards and decision support.

On a typical day, you might be designing and building data pipelines in Azure Data Factory, working with Datalake architectures in Microsoft Fabric, or developing solutions in platforms like Databricks or Snowflake. You'll collaborate closely with solution architects and Business Consultants to ensure valuable data insights to our customers.

We primarily work within Microsoft’s tech stack, and your projects will often involve services like Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, Power BI, and more. Experience or curiosity about Microsoft Fabric is highly valued, as many of our clients are moving in that direction.

Requirements

• You have hands-on experience building data pipelines and managing data flows in cloud environments, preferably in Azure.
• You are comfortable working with structured and unstructured data, and familiar with modern data warehousing concepts.
• You’re able to collaborate with both technical teams and business stakeholders, and communicate fluently in Swedish and English.
  
  Please note that this position requires fluency in English & Swedish and requires a Swedish working VISA/Citizenship.
